Started learning Japanese and finished learning what I wanted to learn in 2 years. Won a speech
competition.
Founded an organization to bring Japanese interested in American Culture and anyone interested in Japanese culture together.
Transfered to UC Berkeley from De Anza/Foothill College and started learning Cognitive Science.
Began to develop a love for Psychology and seeing how it was more related to everyday life and situations.
Founded Libre Spiritus providing networking for freelance and student filmmakers across the Bay Area.
Graduated UC Berkeley in December 2015 with a B.A in Cognitive Science
I had grown Libre Spiritus to a network of about 150 freelance filmmakers in the Bay Area alone.
Worked at Apple Inc. as a Content/Account Manager for 1 year & made their categorization more culturally integrated.
Presented panel about Osaka and Entertainemnt Industry at Fanime(2014-2017)
and CRX(2017).
LOVE coordinating and styling outfits in the PUNK/GRUNGE scene with Avant-Garde pieces.
Listen to all sorts of music such as Dreampop with Grimes to Progressive Rock such as Ling Tosite Sigure.
LOVE worldbuilding films with deep intricate characters who test each others limits.
Anime with deep psychological and philosophical undertones are my style. Animation with epic character transformations are my substance.
Taking charge of a character by maxing out every skill, hp, mp and whatnot is NOT A WASTE OF TIME.
50k a week is how I do it; breathe in, breathe out and enjoy the ride nature brings.
Communicating in Japanese fluently to ensure deals with Japanese companies go through successfully.
Crafting simplistic designs with the html, css, js, domain name and hosting necessary to run it.
Producing platforms to bring artistic and cultural vision together to craft works of inspiration and innovation.
My first love and songstress who continuously saves and inspires my soul with her heart-wrenched vocals and melodically dreamy soundscapes.
The fashion designer and icon who I absolutely look up to for doing such a prolific and damn good job in bring wearable and modern techwear and avant-garde pieces to the industry.
The director with great artistic vision venturing through stories with rebellious vs perverted characters hearts certainly broadened my understanding of the world.
The late animation director brought strong characters in very strange and distorted worlds which has driven my soul to emrbace and endure any harsh surroundings of mine.
The legendary producer of game series: GRAND THEFT AUTO who showed me what guts and daring vision it take sto create such a ground-breaking franchise and social commentary of American society.
A model, actress, and runner who primarily inspired me to run after seeing her transformation from a lazy gamer to a gamer that also loves to run ULTRAs and stay healthy.
The cofounder and former CEO of Sony Corp (back when it was absolutely good). Before Apple, there was Sony and Akio Morita was the first one out of Japan's tech industry to make it big internationally and make a name for Japanese electronics. He and his legacy and leadership shows me what it takes in the Tech industry - guts and the ability to say no to critics and others.
The absolutely ruthless former CEO of Oracle Corp provides some interesting insight in regards to business and entrepreneurship. In regards to competition: it's not too important to succeed so long as others fail.
"It all started with a mouse" - Walt Disney. That quote right there is enough to tell you about the man and why he inspires me to this day. Anything can become an empire so long as you dream big and keep at it.

Find your true self in where you want to go with your life through the IMI program.
On finding your true self you have to be aware and learn about things surrounding you to understand yourself better
While attempting to learn different languages and cultures you can grow as an individual and understand what you like and what you wish to pursue.
"Mi" means soul in Japanese and it is the thing one should be looking after when helping "mi."
There's a lot of soul-searching that needs to take place before one can actually start attempting to pursue their life long dream. The IMI program will help you with that for sure.
Soul-searching occurs through venturing many different activities and walks of life. It is through this where the life long dream is realized.
The reason why I named the program "IMI" is because it's a combination of the "I" and "MI" - the self and the soul. IMI in Japanese means "meaning" - I believe that meaning is found when the self and soul are one and united.
After going through the program I hope to help you understand yourself better.
The translations I provide are absolutely accurate - no nuances or interpretation left alone.
The translations I provide are fast and depending on the situation it may even be real time.
I don't just translate professional things, but many other fun things - if you want to curse in your blog post or send a flirty message via messanger.
Any talk you would be like to have with me in Japanese is going to be an absolutely natural conversation. I'm not a textbook and don't intend for my conversations with you to be.
Talking with me will absolutely be integrative on any Japanese lesson plan you're going through. Shall definitely use any grammar points your learning or any vocabulary which you need to learn as well.
Moreover the conversation will absolutely be fun - not a boring textbook conversation but one that relates with your life and your daily experiences. I will even bring in many of my Japanese colleagues and friends to speak with you to make it even more fun.
Teaching Japanese will absolutely be comprehensive in speaking, listening, reading and writing. I won't just teach formal Japanese but casual Japanese as well.
The lessons which I will provide will be up to date and modern - things which you will be using in either the workplace or everyday life in front of your Japanese friends.
Teaching will be a lot of fun as well as I plan to make the lessons apply to your daily life and have a constructive lesson plan which you can actually use.

My name "Sayan" means "wise/intelligent man." I like to believe my parents were being a bit too hopeful when choosing this.
My last name was something I was always made fun of back when I was a kid, but now it's my coolest part of the name especially when many Japanese call me Lala-chan.
My full name is Sayan Lala - please to meet you and hope you're enjoying my website. Please email me here.

I wanted to make Libre Spiritus as I noticed there was a lack of film production programs around the Bay Area. So long as there was a place for freelance filmmakers to meet, film can be made.
I realized that I wanted not just a network but a real life platform as well where people can collaborate on projects together.
I created Libre Spiritus in 2013 at Berkeley and found all the students who were interested in film to join and start working on the platform and network.
Libre Spiritus was realized and it became much more than just a platform. I had created a think tank for film production.
The connections started growing from UC Berkeley to many other schools in the Bay Area from SFSU to SJSU.
The organization kept growing and now we're at 150 members in the Bay Area making it a huge step for us.
The Philosophy of Libre Spiritus is to "free your soul." We don't want anything in the way of your film idea being realized and produced.
We wish to provide everyone with the opportunity to produce great quality film which has not been produced before in Hollywood and other mainstream areas due to market concerns. We want people to be risky and hungry for new ideas.
At 150 members we are now looking for a way to make our mission virtual and bring the world's filmmakers together.
